# 11355 - c. 1990's VERSACE COUTURE Leopard Faux Fur Plush Gown! Worn by Fran Drescher on "The David Letterman Show", on "Living with Fran", on "The Nanny" and for Publicity Photoshoot! Obviously one of Fran's favorites as she wore it for a major publicity photo shoot... and I've gotta say, as beautiful as Fran is, she never looked more beautiful than in these photos!!! There are many leopard gowns out there, but this is Versace Couture! The slightly golden wide straps are the key to recognizing this particular gown worn on all the various shows. Click on the photo at the left to see the actual gown and the other photos and stills from the videos you can find on YouTube. The "Living with Fran" episode was season 2, episode 10 from February, 2006. "The David Letterman Show" appearance was July, 2009. "The Nanny" was season 2, episode 11. I haven't found the date of the photoshoot yet. Even though worn a few times, it's still in Excellent condition... except... somehow the hemline at the side to the back is stiffened. What did Fran step in?? It's not something you will notice when worn, but it's certainly there when you inspect the gown. Versace Couture dresses can easily cost $10,000+. The current Versace Couture Atelier line gowns now can reach up near $100K! Just to give you some idea of what this is.... beside the celebrity connection. # 11356 - c. 1990's ESCADA, Exclusive for Saks Fifth Avenue Hot Pin Boucle Textured Tank Dress and Matching Jacket with Jeweled Buttons! Worn by Fran Drescher on "The Nanny"! If you loved The Nanny as much as I did (and still do!), you will know Fran's fashions were a highlight on the show. I just found photos of this piece from the show (I'm fast forwarding through the episodes, but there are 6 years of shows, so.....) so I'm not sure which episode... yet. Anyway, this piece is in excellent condition. And, of course is of Escada quality! Great to have an outfit that can be worn so many different ways. As you know, Fran often wore black turtleneck tops under the scoop neck pieces... so this dress may have also been worn as a jumper. You can wear plain, or with a blouse under, or turtleneck, or wear with jacket open or closed. FYI, the buttons were changed, but you can see it's the same interesting suit jacket lapel. Measures: 34" bust, up to 28" waist, up to 37" hips, 24" long jacket, 35" long dress, 19" long from natural waist to skirt hem. Excellent condition. Would cost $2750 new! Yes, there is a similar hot pink Escada outfit available right now on Neiman Marcus' website. # 1811 - c. 1990's MOSCHINO COUTURE Plush Wild Print Suit worn by Fran Drescher on the TV Program "THE NANNY" - Television Memorabilia! This suit was selected to head up the 1990's chapter of the "Official Price Guide to Vintage Fashion and Fabrics" by Pamela Smith. It's a fabulous multicolored ethnic print in a shiny plush fabric. Slight wrap-look mini-skirt with short matching jacket. This outfit was purchased in a lot of 5 outfits worn by Fran Drescher on her TV Program, "The Nanny". Each has an attached tag and came from a Hollywood re-sale shop in Los Angeles. My parents and I watched as many re-runs of The Nanny as possible to guarantee authenticity! I found 3 of the outfits on particular shows, but have yet to find the episode on which she wore this outfit. However, there is no doubt that this was tailored for Fran.. you can tell from the micromini skirt and the tight butt!! Excellent condition. # 11360 - vintage Embroidered Wool Vest! Worn by Fran Drescher to Personal Event!Fran's Handwritten Note reads: "I purchased this while in the Czech Republic shooting Beautician & the Beast"! So cool that she bothered to write this on the COA that will come from Antiquedress.com! She wore it to some "Personal Event". I hate not having more information for you, but the handwritten note certainly confirms this to be a piece that she personally selected and purchased! # 11357 - c. 1990's BOB MACKIE, Neiman Marcus Black Textured Silk Strapless Dress with Rhinestone Trim, with Matching Black Textured Tailored Dress Coat with Huge Sparkling Rhinestone Buttons! Worn by Fran Drescher on "The Nanny" on Season 6, Episodes 16, 17 and 21! If you loved The Nanny as much as I did (and still do!), you might be able to find this dress/coat on the show before I do (I'm fast forwarding through the episodes, but there are 6 years of shows, so.....) This outfit, and all the other Fran Drescher pieces, came to me directly from Ms. Drescher and it was listed as "worn on The Nanny", and luckily I finally found it! Worn closed in three episodes (flashbacks and a two-parter). I LOVE Bob Mackie, and nearly fell over when I saw the shape and tailoring on the back of this coat. It's achingly perfect (at least in my eye!). And then huge rhinestone buttons are dazzlingly brilliant. In Excellent condition. Incredibly, it still has the original price tag on the dress from the 1990's! $3,500!!!! Seems to be just for the dress! I would certainly assume that would make the coat cost $5,000. which together equals over $14,000 in today's money!! Fran's people left a few original store tags on her clothing. WHY? Don't know, but there were others as well. BEAUTIFULLY MADE! The dress has TWO zippers up the back (as usually only the best pieces do!) and has a boned bodice. Coat measures: up to 34" bust (tight, and you need narrow back), up to 27" waist on coat. Dress: up to 32" bust, up to 25" waist, up to 40" hips, 18" from waist to hem. # 11363D - c. 1997 Custom Made Raw Silk Light Lime Green Pants for "The Beautician and the Beast" Movie! Worn by Fran Drescher! ALSO Worn by Fran on "The Rosie O'Donnell Show" (1996). From costume designer Barbara Tfank, Fran wore these pants in various colors throughout the film. I have all 5 colors... Hot pink, Light Orange, Lavender, Light Pink and Soft Lime Green! I don't have any of the tops worn with these, just the ankle skinny raw silk pants. Each pair is exactly the same, just a different color. All in Excellent condition (with just a few extreme minor dirt on a few). Form fitted with small slit at bottom sides of legs. Side zipper. Unlined. # 11359 - c. 1990's MOSCHINO Jeans, Made in Italy Cotton Lightweight Stretch Denim Daisy Print Suit! Worn by Fran Drescher on "The Nanny"! If you loved The Nanny as much as I did (and still do!), you will know Fran's eye-catching outfits are part of the joy of the show. I didn't know it then, but now I realize that she wore quite a lot of pieces by Moschino. This one I still have yet to find on the show (I'm fast forwarding through the episodes, but there are 6 years of shows, so.....) Anyway, this piece is in excellent condition, though the skirt was shortened for Fran. Incredibly, it still has the original price tags from the 1990's! $502 ($502??? Why not $500??) for the jacket, $170 for the skirt... so that's $672 for the suit - which equals over $1,000 in today's money. Love the designer... looks like it's hand painted due to the way the print is created on the material. See photos. Measures: up to 36" bust, up to 32" waist on jacket, 24" long from shoulder to hem jacket, 28" waist skirt (worn low), 17" long skirt with 4.5" taken off skirt hem, up to 36" hips. Love the writing on these shows! Still looking for this outfit, but it was sent to me directly from Fran Drescher with a note saying this was worn on The Nanny, so it's gotta be there somewhere!! This still comes with the original Neiman Marcus price tags (that happened on a few of Fran's pieces) of $620 for the jacket and $190 for the skirt. Excellent condition. Red cherries on back background. There is also a hangtag that was likely from the costumer which says to sew up back, get a red bra and something else (can't read it!). So this may not have been worn as the skirt isn't hemmed up to the usual Fran Fine length, or perhaps the jacket only was worn. I will keep looking! 1/2 length cuffed sleeves. # 11354 - c. 2000's AIDAN MATTOX Niteline Bright Lavender Silk Gown with Brilliant Rhinestone Circles and Extreme Back! I still don't know where Fran Drescher wore this gown... it was just one of the pieces in her closet that she was willing to part with. According to the information, this was worn to "A Personal Event". So... I guess, indeed, it was personal as I can't get the answer as to where it was worn. Oh well.... You may not even care. You may just look at the gown is say to yourself... "Damn, I would look incredible in that!". And if you are 36/37" bust, up to 33" waist (bias), up to 43" hips (again bias so it will look good on anyone smaller than that as well! Just hugs whatever curves you have). Also, if you are larger than this mannequin (35/25/36) the gown will be a bit shorter than the 64" in front - 66" in back. Fran must have worn damn high heels or platforms with this! GORGEOUS color. Sexy as hell. Flows like... well like SILK! This will flutter when you walk. Slightly trained. There is a molded bra inside the bust so you won't need one. Excellent condition.
