Gotta love her name, eh? This was her son, Andy Hyman's bathrobe.... I know that because his name is still sewn into it! :) Remember when they used to do that for camp! :) My mother spent many hours sewing in our name tags for her 4 kids. Amazing what you take for granted when growing up. I only wish I could thank my Mom now for everything she did. Sad that sometimes you don't come to the realization until it's too late. OK... sorry... just a little digression. So back to the bathrobe.... Great color like a dark raspberry in a terrific Victorian look! Mostly due to the tri-colored silk rope trim around the shawl collar and down the front, around the slit pockets at front and, perhaps most especially Victorianish, at the upper cuffs. Nice heavy wool like you can hardly find anymore these days. Unlined. The matching robe waist tie belt has one great tassel and the other seems like it might have been chewed off by the family dog! Measures: about 36" bust, 46" long from shoulder to hem. Condition is great, but not perfect as there is one tiny spot on upper sleeve and there is one tiny moth hole 8.5" up from front hem. I'm VERY picky as you all know, so most people would just call these Excellent condition. Really it's that one tassel that is the only issue. :( Still a nice gift! Too small for most men, but great for a woman! Get the Victorian look! NEW LISTING! Under $150 category, so final sale. Approx. - Size 4/6

SOLD#9975a - c. 1930's "Bonnie Parker" Rust Colored Hand Knitted Outfit! With Matching Beret! From one estate, I have a few hand-knitted outfits (professional quality knitting) with that great 1930's "Bonnie and Clyde" gun moll look! None of them are in mint condition. Each have some problems... so these are great for costumes, or to wear anywhere if you just don't need to be perfect. This is one of the best! Hard to exactly capture the color in these photos, but it is a rust color wool knit skirt with matching front closure sweater top (closes with snaps and large 30s buttons). The black openwork knit "scarf" is actually attached to the sweater. Comes with a great matching knitted beret! This outfit is in pretty great condition other than the one hole in upper back that needs to be sewn shut (see photos) and the fact that the buttons have somehow bled into the wool under them, so it looks like placement dots. Otherwise it's quite good. However it is musty and will need to be aired out, or fabreezed. I leave that choice to you. The skirt waist is elastic just pinned. Measures: 33-35" bust (tight on 35"), 24-34" elastic waist skirt, up to 40" hips, 28" long skirt. NEW LISTING! Under $150 so final sale. $ 145. SOLD

SOLD#9975d - c. 1930's "Bonnie Parker" Cornflower Blue Colored Hand Knitted Outfit! With Matching Beret and Small Clutch! Great cornflower blue color wool knit skirt with matching overhead "v" neck sweater top with matching knit belt. Comes with a great matching pierced knitted beret and small knitted zipper top clutch purse! This outfit is in pretty great condition other than the stains. As you will see from the photos, one sleeve especially has dark marks (like a strange rusty transfer design from something it might have been stored with), and there is one similar spot on upper back skirt. The purse is very dirty, so the color is darker, the belt buckle is slightly worn. Otherwise it's quite good (one teeny teeny hole in skirt that one stitch will fix). However it is musty and will need to be aired out, or fabreezed. I leave that choice to you. The skirt waist is elastic. Measures: 33-35" bust (tight on 35"), 24-32" elastic waist skirt, up to 40" hips, 28" long skirt. NEW LISTING! Under $150 so final sale. $ 145. SOLD

Should I say that again to make sure you know what you are buying? It's a no-name suit that will make you look like you are wealthy! :) Black santana knit. The gold braid trim is just sewn on. Goldtone buttons are nicely carved. Elastic skirt is designed with large "pleats". Measures: 35" bust, 28"-37" waist elastic skirt, up to 39" hips best, 22" long skirt. Small shoulder pads. Excellent condition with the only issue being white underarm residue inside only. Should dry-clean out. NEW LISTING! Under $150 so final sale. Approx. - SIZE 6

SOLD#5627 - c. 1920's Deep Cranberry Red Chinese Silk Embroidered and Couched Jacket! A wonderful textile piece that can be worn, used as a costume, and/or hung as a piece of artwork! The only reason the price seems low is because it has some problems. There is damage to both cuffs (see photos - similar condition on both), some couching that needs retacking on cuffs, the upper side frog closure needs new loop, there are extremely minor underarm stains that I didn't see until the light hit it a certain way, and the inner lining is torn at the upper neck. Otherwise the rest of the condition is quite good... and certainly lovely as you can see. Look at the close up photos to see the turquoise blue flower and blush pink embroidery on black silk for the edging detailing. Blush blue satin edging. Slit sides. Rose, lavender and gold metallic rope couching on blush blue silk cuffs. Mandarin collar. And the brocaded gold on the deep cranberry red silk ground. Lined in red silk. A seemingly perfect combination of colors, fabric and shape. Great to wear today over leggings! Get a seamstress to cover the cuffs with clear netting to save, or back the silk for stability. Priced to reflect cuff condition. Measures: 21" lying flat across underarms (so double that), 37" long from shoulder to hem. NEW LISTING! Under $150 so final sale. $ 145. SOLD

Click on image for additional photos!#5151 - LANVIN, Paris Silk Scarf of Animals! Sadly I am at a loss for words to describe the design on this scarf! It looks lovely as you can see from afar... but as you zoom in on the design it starts to look like the designer was high on drugs when he/she created this! :) There are oak leaves and acorns in the center and then the list of animals include: cat, owl, rabbit, eagle, chicken, dog, lobster, rat, turtle, lion, squirrel, porcupine, cricket, birds, turkey, ox... and more! And then (for good measure) two women... one clothed, one topless! Whoo-whoo! Colors are deep rose, muted plum, with rose, blue, purple and army green edged in black with gold. Measures: 34.5" x 34.5". Excellent condition. May not have been worn... still has what seems like original folds. NEW LISTING! Under $150 so final sale.

Black velvet waistband. Size metal zipper. The photos will tell you all you need to know. Saddle shoes, short socks and "bad girl" tight sweater will give you the perfect 50's costume (actually you will need a pouf crinoline as well, as this skirt only has a thin wimpy net attached under). But the skirt itself is great!! Even better, the waist is actually elasticized, so it will be comfy on! Side metal zipper. Excellent condition. Measures: 25-29" waist, 30" long. NEW LISTING! Click on image for additional photos!#6793 - c. 1920's Brass Large Beads and Black Velvet Ribbon Headband! OK.. this headband is a bit confusing... I suppose it can be worn as you see over the forehead, but it seems to be more of a normal headband to wear as a modern headband might be worn.. more on top of the head. Whatever! The black velvet headband is below the beads, but attached so it's all original. The brass beads have a older patina, oxidized. You will see this in the close-up photos. It's a nice piece that came in the same lot as one of those fancy deco brass headpieces that I always seek out.. those that sell for nearly $900... so this is a steal for those of you who want something for a lot less! :) NEW LISTING! Under $150 so final sale.

Click on image for additional photos!#9792a - c. early 1940's Saks Fifth Avenue Satin Wedding Sandals! I know for sure that these were wedding shoes as I saw the gown they went with... otherwise I wouldn't have thought so! Rare to find flats (or what I call as flats) rather than heels for a wedding... so you start to think that perhaps her husband-to-be was on the short side?? Hmmm? She didn't want to tower over him at the ceremony. Nice gal! And nice shoes in a wearable size. Marked 6.5B... and as you can see there is even more room for my toes, so this might fit to size 7. As for condition, they are great on the top and the straps. There is a tiny darkening of the satin on the sides near the sole, but really the only issue is the darkening of the satin on the heel/side platform. Looks like perhaps the glue seeped through. So... the best thing to do is get a bit creative and recover the heels with whatever fabric or appliques appeal to you! Might be fun to create your own masterpiece! NEW LISTING! Under $150 so final sale.
Approx. - SIZE 6.5B - 7B

But certainly wearable for your 60's party or Roger Vivier collection (yup, there are those out there who just collect Vivier!). Mr Vivier designed shoes for Christian Dior for most of the 1950's and early 60's. But perhaps his most iconic design was the "Pilgrim Pump" (from what I read they were made popular from Catherine Deneuve in the film Belle de Jour). So these are what you want in Vivier! Gold lame with tiny rhinestone buckles. Sold at Saks Fifth Avenue. Where the shoes have rubbed together, there is cracked gold, and one small section of gold lost there on one shoe. Extremely light reddish spot on on buckle end. A couple tiny rhinestones missing. Just not mint condition... still very shiny and pretty!! And in a very wearable size! Labeled 9A. NEW LISTING! Under $150 so final sale.

Click on image for additional photos!#4281 - c. 1970 ABE SCHRADER Black Jacquard Heavy Woven Cotton Dress! This is one of those dresses that the "secretary" would wear... you know, perhaps in an old James Bond movie.. .the secretary has her hair piled up in a bun and heavy black glasses. He takes one look at her and suggests she "take down her hair". She hesitantly pulls out one hairpin and her long shiny wavy locks fall down around her shoulders, and he then reaches over and takes off her glasses. "My god, Miss (blank)... you are beautiful!".. Yup, I keep waiting for James Bond to do this to me! But perhaps it hasn't happened yet because I don't have the right dress for the occasion. So put on this dress and wait for him! Black heavy woven cotton jacquard with just the right touches. Rhinestone button ornaments, original belt (slightly empire), inverted pleat front, pointed collar, and then that "just sexy enough" slot down the front pointing to the right spot! Back metal zipper. Click on image for additional photos!#5554 - c. 1970's CREATION LERON Floral Chiffon Gown with Matching Overblouse! Are you an "Autumn"? I'm a "Winter". Or so they tell me. But there must be something to this, since I would look horrible in these colors, and yet my fair-skinned Mother always gravitates to this palette. I remember my ritzy sister brought back a similar floral chiffon outfit from Paris in the 1970's. I was so jealous. I coveted that outfit. But she nearly wore it out she wore it so much. Years later I got the matching blouse from her "hand-me-downs" which I've kept to this day. I never wore it, since it looked great on her (blonde, blue eyed, fair skinned) and as I've said, lousy on me, but I loved to look at it!! So you know I love this gown... and it also comes with the sheer chiffon matching overblouse with attached sash bow at collar and gathered sleeve (which may be overkill worn together - but would be great to wear with other solid color item!) Measures: 34" bust, 27/28" waist, 38" long skirt from waist to hem. Back metal zipper, Sheer lined bodice. Black taffeta skirt under chiffon skirt. Best on 5'2" woman or shorter to be floor length. Excellent condition except for the heel tear in the skirt 2.5" up from the hem. I'd live with it, since you would have likely done the same thing.. and it keeps the price affordable! Under $150, so final sale. Approx. - SIZE 6

Click on image for additional photos!#9508 - c. 1940's / 1950's Black All Silk Ribbon Dress with Original Belt! LARGER SIZE! Every women (Ok, most every woman) had at least one ribbon dress in their closet in the 40's/50's. Why you ask??? Well, I don't know but I have a good guess that with all the incredibly structured fashions of the time, women wanted a dress that was actually comfortable while still being stylish. We are so spoiled these days with all our stretch fabrics and oversized clothing! Just imagine the "ah" from the ruby red lipsticked lips of these women on the days they wore their ribbon dress. Though they probably wore the girdle anyway! :) All ribbon dress... please look at the close-up photos to see the intricate design. Details are worked in just by changing the ribbon design at round neckline and waist. Original ribbon belt. Side metal zipper. You will need a slip under, but you can make that as daring or sedate as you wish. Excellent condition. Measures: 38" bust, up to 32" waist, up to 42" hips, 30" long from waist to hem, 18" from shoulder to waist. Under $150, so final sale. Approx. - SIZE 10, perhaps 12

From Rizik Bros. in Washington DC. Completely flowing chiffon gown with interestingly different cut of top layer - as you can see - shorter in the front, longer in the back. Long see-though chiffon sleeves. Beaded yoke and upper back with mock turtleneck. Beading has a bit of sex appeal since it's designed to mold just above the breasts... calls attention to the right spot... even under all that material. and the upper back has the open slit to show a bit of skin. Measures: about 36" bust and 60" long from shoulder to hem. Very few other measurements necessary. Back zipper. Excellent condition. Wonderful for any formal occasion. Could even be a great wedding attendant gown for a 70's wedding... certainly a heck of a lot nicer than the gown I made my bridesmaid wear to my first wedding! What WAS I thinking????? Click on image for additional photos!#3851 - c. Vintage Men's (or Ladies) Mexican Mariachi / Charro Outfit From The Iron Eyes Cody Estate! Iron Eyes Cody was a Native American Indian actor who was in many of the old Western movies... and you may remember him especially from the classic 1960's anti-litter television commercial at the end of which a tear drops from the eye of an American Indian. That commecial has been named the 16th best commercial of all times! The "Charro" is actually a Mexican cowboy outfit with tight fitting trousers trimmed down the sides with a double row of gold or silver buttons called "plata". Mariachi musicians have made this outfit famous. According to the information I read, the "Trage de Charro" is a tribute to the Mexican male, his taming of the horse and of the land... and is a revered symbol of Mexican strength and masculinity. This suit is made of heavy (and scratchy) black wool trimmed in amazing white soutache design all over jacket and down the sides of the pants. The jacket fits my size 40R husband, or will fit a Women's Size 12/14 at 40" bust. For the man, the pants... well, I know they are meant to fit tight.. but geez those legs are tight, even on my skinny legged hubby ... but the ass will leave him plenty of room to move. For a woman, the butt fits better (or perhaps it's just my J-lo butt) and the pants measure a VERY tall size of: 34" long inseam, 34" at waist.. but waist is a tall 18" above mid-crotch, so the waist will be very high on the ribcage. The pants are fun, but it's the jacket that you should be loving! Under $150, so final sale. Approx. - SIZE 38-40R Men's or SIZE 12/14 Tall Ladies

Click on image for additional photos!#3755 - c. 1950's LEE FEREBEE Owned Satin Dress with Lace Overdress! Unfortunately I have no COA other than the original promo advertising sign that came with the dress, along with the verbal history. But why would anyone make this up? I would have chosen someone a heck of a lot more famous to attribute to this dress! :) For those of you who never heard of Lee Ferebee (including me!), she was a 1930's-1960's songwriter and recording artist for Big Wheel Records and Decca Records. Her songs were sung by herself and others, including Johnny Cash on his 1962 album "Hymns from the Heart" singing her "Taller Than Trees". This may have been a stage outfit, but whose to know. Very busty shape! She must have had a va-va-voom figure! Dark platinum colored satin dress with rhinestone shoulder straps (currently un-attached to the satin spaghetti straps - just need tacking back on if you want them) and gathered bust. The 3/4 length overdress is all matching lace with trimmed in the same satin. Back metal zipper. Good condition with a few issues and one glaring exception. There is a water or grease stain on the left thigh that is mostly hidden by the overdress, but it's certainly there. I've not tried to clean. Get creative to cover if need be. Otherwise, there is another similar but much lighter spot on the bust, a pull of the seam (easy fix) under zipper, and some leg lace breaks at upper back. Hemmed up a bit, and straps taken up a smidge. Measures: 38" bust, 26" waist, up to 38" hips. Price reflects issues. If you just want a "look" and don't need perfection, it's beautiful. Under $150, so final sale. Approx. - SIZE 4 very busty

Every time I see a large polkadot dress, I think back to the brown polkaddot dress worn by Julia Roberts in "Pretty Woman" during the polo scene. So go to the races in this! Grab a huge navy straw hat and be the center of attention! Well-made Trigere, as usual. Comes with the navy silk underslip. Back zipper, shoulder pads. The simple satin ribbon waistband with flower is not included, just something I added. Measures: 36" bust, 28" waist, 25" long from waist to hem. Slip measures: 39" bust, 31" waist, up 4o 41" hips giving plenty of room to move. The Trigere label is on the slip, not on the dress, but I'm sure they are a match. Under $150, so final sale. Click on image for additional photos!#9893 - c. 1930's Sheer Floral Chiffon Dress with Brown Velvet Tie Belt and Original Separate Slip! Once again, pretty dresses end up in this "under $150" category for a reason. Sadly. This gown is a lovely ecru and pastel floral print silk chiffon, but it has issues. The worse is at the hemline where someone caught a heel a few times with some light spotting there at back hem. The slip has underarm stains (see photos)... it's just the slip. There is a bit of weak fabric at the collar where there are 2 small holes at right. All this sounds worse than it is... especially for this price!! The belt is way cool... part brown velvet and then ties at front with the matching floral chiffon. Ecru lace trim around the large shawl collar. I really have NO idea how it's supposed to hang at front... perhaps with a pin, or just leave hanging. (I Should know these things by now!!) Measures: 35" bust, up to 30" waist, up to 34" hips, 54-57" long from shoulder to hem. Under $150, so final sale. Approx. - SIZE 4/6 (small hips!)

Goldie Hawn, Joann Worley, Judy Carne.... they all would have looked right at home in this gown. You can use a ribbon tie at the empire waistline if you want. Excellent condition. Measures: 35" bust, 30" underbust/empire waist, 55" long from shoulder to hem, 13" from shoulder to waistline. Nude rayon underslip attached. Back metal zipper. Silk lined. Under $150, so final sale. Click on image for additional photos!#6086 - c. 1905 White Cotton Slightly Trained Petticoat! This petticoat came in the same lot as the one below. As I usually favor the very fancy, lacy petticoats which are usually too beautiful to be worn underneath. This is... a petticoat! Plain with just a hint of detailing in the eyelet lace at hemline. Midweight cotton. Nice white, crisp, ready to wear. Excellent condition with only a few issues... four small rust spots (see photo for example). As you know.... the right undergarments are SO important in making your clothing look right... so if you need an antique petticoat to make your antique dress look perfect... this is what you need! Measures: 25" waist, 37.5" long in front, 43" long in back. Under $150, so Final Sale. Also listed in the Lingerie Category. Approx. - Size 25" waist

Click on image for additional photos!#6373 - c. 1920's Wonderful Silk Lavender and Pink Fancy Garters with Ribbon Roses! OK, you can buy your friend one crappy new wedding garter for $20 for the bridal shower, or you can give her "something old" with an original set of fancy garters from the 1910-1920s! These are especially fabulous with two-tone silk coloring... lavender on the outside and pink on the inside. Finished off with 10 graduated colored ribbon roses. I've seen other 1920's garters priced over $400, and, in my humble opinion, these are nicer! As with all the antique garters, the elastic is stretched out, so if you want to wear these, you will just need to tack in some new elastic. Or better yet, use these to create a framed wedding gift! Excellent condition otherwise! Under $150 category, so final sale. Also listed in the Lingerie Category.

Click on image for additional photos!#9945 - c. 1950's RAPPI Grayish Teal Blue Taffeta Dress! A wonderful dress, but it's one of the smallest I have ever had from the 1950's, so probably best for your young teenage girl. I'm showing it on the size 2 mannequin and you can see that the back is FAR from closing! Measures: 29/30" bust, 22" waist, 29" long from waist to hem. Rappi was a fairly good label, this dress has a cotton crinoline under. Excellent condition. Lovely tie front. Comes with the original thin belt. So break out the tape measure to see if this will fit... if so, you get a steal at this price. Under $150, so final sale.

Previously owned by some guy with the initials "CFA" and I believe sold at Delano Hat shop in Boston... there's lots of stuff embossed on the inside leather band! Meanwhile.. the exterior of the hat is fabulous. Stiff medium gray color felt with wide black grosgrain band with large bow at side... even has the original thin elastic band with the "Knox" button. Excellent condition with just the slightest hint of a scuff. The box is just in normal wear, OK condition... but nice to have to continue to protect the hat. Size men's hat labeled 7 1/8... which measures about 22" interior. Under $150, so final sale.

If it wasn't for the darkening of the back of these slipper shoes, they would be considered Excellent condition. But it seems that whatever they used for gluing in the heel of these shoes bled through the lovely pink brocade (or broche). Pink chiffon and pink satin flower decorations adorn the front of the shoes. Quilted interior sides. So pretty. These might fit you if you have a very thin foot. Measures: 10" long x 2.5" wide. Under $150, so final sale. Approx. - SIZE 6 AA

Click on image for additional photos!#9949 - c. 1940's Platform Shoes of Black Suede with Cutouts, Slingback and Peep Toe! These came from the same estate as the other 1940s shoes listed below... but those are in near perfect condition... these were obviously worn a bit more. They have a few issues... the suede needs a cleaning as you can see the water mark on the side. And the other issue is that the sole has a tear in the leather at back (see photos) which makes the heels ever so slightly weak. Check out the beading design at front. Even though they are labeled size 7.5aaa, I show them on my size 6.5 slightly foot so you can see they fit me... just a bit too large.. so I'd say a size 7 would be fine. I'd give you the measurements, but they really mean very little... it's all about how it fits. These need to be in your closet! Under $150, so final sale. Approx. - SIZE 7m - 7.5 a

But if you want to add "snappy" to that list... check out this beret with red, blue, green and gold round jewels firmly imbedded into the black felt! GREAT! and Unique! She obviously loved this design as she had many gowns of this fabric, some custom made, and others purchased from various locations.... obviously including Bangkok! :) Lovely fabric. Please look at the close-up photos of the stripes at skirt bottom. Woven designs! Faux buttons down front. Lovely "sweetheart" neckline. She had this gown taken out to fit her about 3" total in bust and waist, so you still see the stitch marks on the sides and the back (see photos). You can leave as is, or resize to the original 35" bust, 29" waist (approx). Back metal zipper. CURRENTLY Measures: 38" bust, 32" waist, up to 40" hips, 56" long from shoulder to hem. Other than the stitch marks, and ever so slight underarm lightening, the condition is Excellent. Under $150, so final sale. Approx. - SIZE 8-12

Click on image for additional photos!#6369 - c. 1947 FREDERICK & NELSON, Seattle Red Felt Tilt-Top Hat! Ok... I'm gonna say it right here and now... this hat is "totally unique"! So, now that I've said that... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stop using those two words together! I know it's become a huge part of modern American language, but it doesn't MEAN anything! The definition of "unique" is "unique"... "one of a kind"... so to say "totally unique" is an "oxymoron" (a figure of speech in which apparently contradictory terms appear in conjunction). GOT IT??????? :) Oh, and by the way, it's "SEQUINS", not "sequince" or my favorite, "seaquince" Ahhhh.... OK... it's out of my system. I'm better now. SO... the hat you ask? Red felt molded into a great shape, highlighted by two grosgrain ribbons at front. Meant to be worn as you see with a tilt. Excellent condition. Can be worn on a slightly larger than normal 22" head (this is the mannequin with a swelled head). For all you RED HAT SOCIETY members! Under $150, so final sale.

Click on image for additional photos!#9555 - c. 1970's Metallic Knit Stripe Gown! I think I had something similar to this in high school. Back in the days of the "granny gown". Boy I thought I was "hot"! Mine was ankle length and I wore my sexy boots with it. Sometimes I wonder why my Mother let me out of the house the way I dressed! This gown is less sexy and a lot cute! Metallic threads are used to knit the striped top and matching cardigan sweater and then the skirt, cuffs and trim are a matte black knit. Certainly draws attention! Would look great hemmed up as well, so you can decide if you want this as a gown or dress. Measures: 32-34" bust, 27" waist, up to 37" hips, 44" long from waist to hem. Would fit me fine if my head and neck was only 2" tall. :) Under $150, so final sale. Approx. - SIZE 4/6 LONG

Could be worn as a dress except for the fact that it's all open from that last button to the hem. If you sewed it shut, it could be a dress. Meanwhile... it comes as is with a matching longer skirt. Both pieces are fully lined. Metal zipper at skirt back. Measures: 32" bust, 22" long tunic from shoulder to hem. Skirt measures: 24.5" waist, up to 33" hips, 25.5" long. The tunic has high underarms so will feel tighter than modern clothing. Excellent condition with just the most minor, slight underarm fading. Attached matching self tie belt. Click on image for additional photos!#9871 - c. 1960's Black Large Sequin Wool Knit Base Shell! This is one of those vintage items that will become a staple in your wardrobe! Perfect black knit large sequin sleeveless mock turtleneck shell. Marked "36" and "38", but I think the 38 is correct, and the other was sewn on by someone incorrectly. Anyway... it is a knit under the sequins so it stretches nicely! Measures: up to 38" bust, 20" long from shoulder to hem. Back metal zipper. There is a bit of white deodorant residue under the arms on the sequins, but it scrapes right off.... I just need to spend the time, or for this price, I'll let you do it! Made in British Hong Kong. Under $150, so final sale.

Click on image for additional photos!#9487 - c. 1960's Floral Organdy Gown! I've recently seen a new Leonard, Paris gown that supposedly sold for $4500 and the coloration and floral design was incredibly similar to this 1960's gown! So what's old is new again! A voile/organdy type material in pinks, turquoise, greens and golds and lined in white. Back zipper. Has a white lace hemtape that I know Lilly Pulitzer uses, but there is no designer label. I'm going to assume that it's actually a POSH by Jay Anderson dress since the neckline matches another dress with that label. The Jo Robinson Inc., Delaware label is the store where Ms. Dupont bought most of her clothes! Measures: 39" bust, up to 30" waist, up to 40" hips, 58" long from shoulder to hem. So pretty to wear to a summer wedding! Add a belt if you wish! Excellent condition. Also Listed in the Special Category. Under $150, so final sale. Approx: - SIZE 8/10

Click on image for additional photos!#9269 - c. 1930's Jeweled Frame Petit Point Purse Floral Purse! Very pretty little purse, but more of the "run-of-the-mill" quality, yet from the same prestigious Beverly Hills estate as the museum quality purses! This purse features a goldtone jeweled frame, yet half of the jewels are unfortunately missing. The floral scene is the same front and back and has likely faded over time to a muted palette,, and it's ever so slightly worn at the bottom. The blush silk grosgrain lining has a few minor marks. The frame closes tightly with the distinctive click. Not sure if the frame is original to the purse as there are unused holes in the frame for stitching. Hmmm. Measures approx. 6" high x 7" wide with 17" chain. This is the purse you can use without worrying about ruining a museum quality piece! Just a lovely 1930's pettipoint purse to enjoy! Also great for the beginning collector! Under $150, so final sale.

I know this isn't as large a floppy hat as Scarlett O'Hara wore in the opening scene of GWTW, but it certainly has the same feel without looking too comical! Great "w" design in the straw. Dark brown velvet ribbon trim could certainly be replaced with green taffeta to be "oh so Scarlett". Excellent condition even though the crown is slightly misshapen (it will reshape on your head) and the brown velvet ribbon is tired. Under $150, so final sale.

Direct from the Estate of a woman who used to shop only at the best stores... Saks being one of her favorites. This is a simple short sleeved dress with matching collared jacket. The material is an interesting pattern, likely double knit that stretches on the dress, but not much on the jacket as it is lined. Very Good condition with just one of the rounded black buttons missing on the jacket and barely a hint of dirt at the dress neckline in one area. Measures: 40" bust, up to 38" waist, up to 44" hips, 39" long from shoulder to hem, 22" long jacket from back neck to hem. Jacket only is lined. Labeled Size 18, but that's old sizing. NEW LISTING! SOLD#9746 - c. 1950's Black Satin Strapless Gown! Think Princess Diana! Lovely ankle length black satin dress with "crumb catcher" boned bodice and bustline, then gathered up at one side from which a side train falls. This was likely a knock-off of a designer dress, as the quality is more that of a mid-priced garment rather than a beautifully made designer gown. However, from the exterior, you'd never know! Excellent condition with just a tiny hint of deodorant residue. I doubt you would have even noticed it if I hadn't mentioned it. The only real issue is the size of this gown... TINY! Measures: 32" bust with only 14" across back, 23" waist, up to 33" hips, 36" long waist to hem in front, 45" long to the end of the train. Side metal zipper. Under $150, so final sale. $ 95. SOLD

Some are detachable, some are fully attached, as is this.. And you may also know that BROWN is being shown all over the magazines for this fall! So.... it kills me to put this dress in the Under $150 category. However, when an item has some flaws, you win!!! So.. pay attention and move fast! Gorgeous color. The dress has no labels, but obviously well-made and expensive fabric. The flaws are shown in the close-up photos. There are some light marks near the hem of the dress in front, and some watermark spots on the dress in the front bodice. Nothing is jarring, and the watermarks are only seen in some lighting situations, but they are flaws. 3/4 length sleeves. High neck. And the dress is small - too small for my mannequin so the back is open, but Measures: 32" perhaps 33" bust, 24" at natural waist, up to 34" hips. The dress was VERY professionally taken in about 2" everywhere, so can be let out if necessary... even hemmed up about 2" to 26" long from waist to hem. Under $150, so final sale. Approx. - Size 0/2

SOLD#9479 - c. 1960's Blush Pink Embossed Gown! I have to confess... I needed a wedding party gown to wear for a staged reading of a play I was in, and this was the gown that worked perfectly. Looked great on... and got many compliments. It's a blush pink gown of a unique embossed cotton/linen fabric. Sweet satin rope belt with "bow". Perfect length little cap sleeves will make your arms look their slimmest. If Audrey wore pink, she would own this. Wonderful for a summer evening.. or even for a bridesmaid. Measures: 35" bust (wide shoulders best!), 27" waist, 39" hips, 56" long from shoulder to hem. 2.5" hem if necessary. Inner waist corset, pockets at front. There is a slight dirty line across back (like she leaned up against something - see photos).. and slight hemline dirt. I can't imagine that wouldn't dryclean out, but I'm afraid I can't dryclean every gown as I would go broke! So I priced it very low so you can do your own dry-cleaning! :) Hem it up a smidge to a perfect hemline. Also Listed in the Special Category. Under $150, so final sale. $ 145. SOLD
