Click on image for additional photos!#5649 - c. 1990's SELBY 2-Tone High Strap Heels! NEVER WORN! Other than the fact that you will want to glue the liners back down, these shoes are in near mint condition. My mother used to swear by Selby shoes... as nothing else would make her feet comfy. I'd love to try these on for you to check it out, but alas, they are AA wide, and I am absolutely not, so my fat little piggies don't fit in these at all. :( Hopefully you have the perfect foot size for a great pair of never used shoes in the classy 2-tone black/tan combo. NEW LISTING! Under $150, so Final Sale. Approx. - SIZE 7 AA

[ORDER ITEM - #5650]
Click on image for additional photos!#5650 - c. 1960's PACELLE, Saks Fifth Avenue Brown Suede Heels with Brown Satin Bows! Pacelle was a brand made in Italy for Saks during the 1950's and 60's. Obviously they were highly coveted, as in my quick research, I found a Marilyn Monroe costume where she wore Pacelle shoes with it... and below is a photo of a pair of Pacelle shoes donated to the Metropolitan Museum of New York for their Costume Institute! Pacelle shoes sold for similar prices to the famous Roger Vivier at approximately $25-$40 in the 1960s. These brown suede shoes have been worn, but have plenty of life left in them. They are marked size 6.5A (or is that AA?), but my wide foot will fit into them, so they can't be too thin. However, you will still want a thinner foot than mine to be comfy. "Excellent" condition with the moderate wear to the sole as you see in the photos. NEW LISTING! Under $150, so Final Sale. Approx. - SIZE 6.5 A
[ORDER ITEM - #5655]
Click on image for additional photos!#5655 - c. 1950's SALLY VICTOR Straw Hat with Floppy Silk Flowers and Large Wooden Fruit! OK, look at the photos first so you can see the small break in the straw on the crown. See it? OK, so now you know why this hat is less than you'd think. The "pretty factor" makes up for the problem, and I figure anyone else would have re-designed the hat to cover the hole with some additional flowers. Too bad I'm so honest. But certainly that's what I would do. Remember, re-trimming hats was what was done through history. Go watch some old Jane Austen movies and you will see usually see scenes of women "working" on their hats and bonnets. Sally Victor was a highly desired label in the 50s. That hat is a stiff, fairly heavy straw, with the lightness of the floppy silk flowers (that could be fluffed up a bit and starched. LOVE that red wooden "fruit" at front with the one white flower! Sweet! Measures: 16" x 16" x 4" tall. Fits a normal size 22 head. NEW LISTING! Also listed in the Hats Category. Also Under $150 so final sale.

Click on image for additional photos!#5162 - c. 1940's BAREFOOT ORIGINALS Black Suede Slingback and Peeptoe Shoes! So for all you gals looking for that perfect WWII look shoe to match with your 1940s dress or suit.... ta-da! Soft black suede with the cut out for the peep toe at front and sling at back. The toe area has the great stiff 3-Dimensional "swish" edged in white stitching for a bit of "pop". From Brown's Booterie. Very good condition... just needs a bit of glue to glue down the leather lining, and just a bit of lining wear under the toe at the peep. Otherwise, quite good and ready to wear! :) Labeled size 8, but I'm told they fit more like a 7.5. Heels measure 4" at back, or if you prefer the height from the inside, it's 2.5". Look great on ... and are actually quite comfy to wear (and I usually have trouble with many shoes)! NEW LISTING! Approx. - SIZE 7.5 B

This one is a teal blue/green and is pointed shaped "floppy" hat with a "bowl" at the top (please don't put your cereal and milk in it! :) Has a terrific large iridescent black feather at back! One of the most important Italian companies in the luxury footwear field! Still in existence, they produce always practical, comfortable, elegant and fashionable shoes that can last a lifetime. Click on image for additional photos!#5149 - LANVIN, Paris Silk Scarf of Swags and Tassels ! This scarf has a bit less "heft" than the Made in Italy scarves, and has the original tag to confirm 100% silk, Made in Japan. Measures: 31" x 31" square. There is a small water spot in the center ground that is only seen under certain lights. Colors of green, with red, purple and blue. Love the tassel and swags design! Same scarf as the one below in different colors. Very good condition as one side edge is unraveled and there is a barely seen spot or residue from tag in the green ground near the middle... only seen under certain lights and held in a certain way. May not have been worn... still has what seems like original folds. NEW LISTING! Under $150 so final sale.

Click on image for additional photos!#5150 - LANVIN, Paris Silk Scarf of Swags and Tassels ! This scarf has a bit less "heft" than the Made in Italy scarves. It does NOT have the original tag to confirm 100% silk, Made in Japan, but as it's the same scarf as the one above, there is no question. Measures: 31" x 31" square. Colors of red, with white, gray and gold. Love the tassel and swags design! Excellent condition. May not have been worn... still has what seems like original folds. NEW LISTING! Under $150 so final sale.

Click on image for additional photos!#5151 - LANVIN, Paris Silk Scarf of Animals! Sadly I am at a loss for words to describe the design on this scarf! It looks lovely as you can see from afar... but as you zoom in on the design it starts to look like the designer was high on drugs when he/she created this! :) There are oak leaves and acorns in the center and then the list of animals include: cat, owl, rabbit, eagle, chicken, dog, lobster, rat, turtle, lion, squirrel, porcupine, cricket, birds, turkey, ox... and more! And then (for good measure) two women... one clothed, one topless! Whoo-whoo! Colors are deep rose, muted plum, with rose, blue, purple and army green edged in black with gold. Measures: 34.5" x 34.5". Excellent condition. May not have been worn... still has what seems like original folds. NEW LISTING! Under $150 so final sale.

Click on image for additional photos!#5152 - LANVIN, Paris Cotton Scarf! Ah, a nice slightly sheer cotton scarf! Feels lovely. Comes with the original tag confirming this to be 100% cotton and Made in Italy. Design of dancing couples around the edge, and Patriot drummers and flag waivers in the middle. [ORDER ITEM - #9792a]
Click on image for additional photos!#9792a - c. early 1940's Saks Fifth Avenue Satin Wedding Sandals! I know for sure that these were wedding shoes as I saw the gown they went with... otherwise I wouldn't have thought so! Rare to find flats (or what I call as flats) rather than heels for a wedding... so you start to think that perhaps her husband-to-be was on the short side?? Hmmm? She didn't want to tower over him at the ceremony. Nice gal! And nice shoes in a wearable size. Marked 6.5B... and as you can see there is even more room for my toes, so this might fit to size 7. As for condition, they are great on the top and the straps. There is a tiny darkening of the satin on the sides near the sole, but really the only issue is the darkening of the satin on the heel/side platform. Looks like perhaps the glue seeped through. So... the best thing to do is get a bit creative and recover the heels with whatever fabric or appliques appeal to you! Might be fun to create your own masterpiece! Under $150 so final sale.
Approx. - SIZE 6.5B - 7B
[ORDER ITEM #9274]
Click on image for additional photos!#9274 - c. 1960's ROGER VIVIER, Paris Gold Lame Pumps with Rhinestone Buckles! Gotta tell you upfront that these aren't perfect.... sadly. But certainly wearable for your 60's party or Roger Vivier collection (yup, there are those out there who just collect Vivier!). Mr Vivier designed shoes for Christian Dior for most of the 1950's and early 60's. But perhaps his most iconic design was the "Pilgrim Pump" (from what I read they were made popular from Catherine Deneuve in the film Belle de Jour). So these are what you want in Vivier! Gold lame with tiny rhinestone buckles. Sold at Saks Fifth Avenue. Where the shoes have rubbed together, there is cracked gold, and one small section of gold lost there on one shoe. Extremely light reddish spot on on buckle end. A couple tiny rhinestones missing. Just not mint condition... still very shiny and pretty!! And in a very wearable size! Labeled 9A. Under $150 so final sale.

Click on image for additional photos!#6427- c. 2000's Lilly Pulitzer Pink Linen Dress with Cutout Butterflies! What's the best part of this dress beside the obvious beauty?? It's machine washable! YEAH! Actually although I date it to 2000's, I have no idea of the date of this dress. All Lilly Pulitzers look alike to me! All pink and green and classic styling. This one is especially pretty with small cutout butterflies in various directions floating on this empire waisted dress. Finished with pink satin ribbon. High neckline with straps. Back zipper. Lined in white cotton. Mint condition. Measures: 34" bust, up to 38" hips, 36" long from shoulder to hem. Best for girls with high cute breasts (at least that's my take on it!). Under $150, so final sale. Approx. - SIZE 4/6

Click on image for additional photos!#5554 - c. 1970's CREATION LERON Floral Chiffon Gown with Matching Overblouse! Are you an "Autumn"? I'm a "Winter". Or so they tell me. But there must be something to this, since I would look horrible in these colors, and yet my fair-skinned Mother always gravitates to this palette. I remember my ritzy sister brought back a similar floral chiffon outfit from Paris in the 1970's. I was so jealous. I coveted that outfit. But she nearly wore it out she wore it so much. Years later I got the matching blouse from her "hand-me-downs" which I've kept to this day. I never wore it, since it looked great on her (blonde, blue eyed, fair skinned) and as I've said, lousy on me, but I loved to look at it!! So you know I love this gown... and it also comes with the sheer chiffon matching overblouse with attached sash bow at collar and gathered sleeve (which may be overkill worn together - but would be great to wear with other solid color item!) Measures: 34" bust, 27/28" waist, 38" long skirt from waist to hem. Back metal zipper, Sheer lined bodice. Black taffeta skirt under chiffon skirt. Best on 5'2" woman or shorter to be floor length. Excellent condition except for the heel tear in the skirt 2.5" up from the hem. I'd live with it, since you would have likely done the same thing.. and it keeps the price affordable! Under $150, so final sale. Approx. - SIZE 6
(check measurements above)
SOLD#3050 - c. 1970's Purple "Fairy" Chiffon Gown with Silver Beaded Yoke! Dreamy! VERY well-made, high quality gown! Was surely expensive new! From Rizik Bros. in Washington DC. Completely flowing chiffon gown with interestingly different cut of top layer - as you can see - shorter in the front, longer in the back. Long see-though chiffon sleeves. Beaded yoke and upper back with mock turtleneck. Beading has a bit of sex appeal since it's designed to mold just above the breasts... calls attention to the right spot... even under all that material. and the upper back has the open slit to show a bit of skin. Measures: about 36" bust and 60" long from shoulder to hem. Very few other measurements necessary. Back zipper. Excellent condition. Wonderful for any formal occasion. Could even be a great wedding attendant gown for a 70's wedding... certainly a heck of a lot nicer than the gown I made my bridesmaid wear to my first wedding! What WAS I thinking????? Under $150, so final sale. $ 145. SOLD
Approx. - SIZE 8/10

[ORDER ITEM - #3755]
Click on image for additional photos!#3755 - c. 1950's LEE FEREBEE Owned Satin Dress with Lace Overdress! Unfortunately I have no COA other than the original promo advertising sign that came with the dress, along with the verbal history. But why would anyone make this up? I would have chosen someone a heck of a lot more famous to attribute to this dress! :) For those of you who never heard of Lee Ferebee (including me!), she was a 1930's-1960's songwriter and recording artist for Big Wheel Records and Decca Records. Her songs were sung by herself and others, including Johnny Cash on his 1962 album "Hymns from the Heart" singing her "Taller Than Trees". This may have been a stage outfit, but whose to know. Very busty shape! She must have had a va-va-voom figure! Dark platinum colored satin dress with rhinestone shoulder straps (currently un-attached to the satin spaghetti straps - just need tacking back on if you want them) and gathered bust. The 3/4 length overdress is all matching lace with trimmed in the same satin. Back metal zipper. Good condition with a few issues and one glaring exception. There is a water or grease stain on the left thigh that is mostly hidden by the overdress, but it's certainly there. I've not tried to clean. Get creative to cover if need be. Otherwise, there is another similar but much lighter spot on the bust, a pull of the seam (easy fix) under zipper, and some leg lace breaks at upper back. Hemmed up a bit, and straps taken up a smidge. Measures: 38" bust, 26" waist, up to 38" hips. Price reflects issues. If you just want a "look" and don't need perfection, it's beautiful. Under $150, so final sale. Approx. - SIZE 4 very busty

A Hattie Carnegie original in a very stiff red colored straw in a abbreviated Southeast Asian peasant coolie hat shape. But the woman wearing this was certainly no peasant! She obviously was a wealthy high society babe... wearing the most fashion forward designs! Excellent condition. Wonderful! Under $150 so final sale.

Click on image for additional photos!#6087 - c. 1970's Black Nylon Jersey Gown! For those of you who love perfect simplicity with sex appeal... sort of a combination of a 1950s great fitted bodice and a 1970s draped long skirt. The only detailing is a bit of interesting shape at end of straps. Quite fabulous on! Back zipper. Acetate lined. Measures: 33" bust, 26" waist, 39" long from waist to hem. Excellent condition with just a few very minor pulls on upper back. Looks perfect on me at 5'2", just sweeps the floor with no shoes. Under $150, so final sale. Approx. - SIZE 4/6
(check measurements above)
SOLD#9893 - c. 1930's Sheer Floral Chiffon Dress with Brown Velvet Tie Belt and Original Separate Slip! Once again, pretty dresses end up in this "under $150" category for a reason. Sadly. This gown is a lovely ecru and pastel floral print silk chiffon, but it has issues. The worse is at the hemline where someone caught a heel a few times with some light spotting there at back hem. The slip has underarm stains (see photos)... it's just the slip. There is a bit of weak fabric at the collar where there are 2 small holes at right. All this sounds worse than it is... especially for this price!! The belt is way cool... part brown velvet and then ties at front with the matching floral chiffon. Ecru lace trim around the large shawl collar. I really have NO idea how it's supposed to hang at front... perhaps with a pin, or just leave hanging. (I Should know these things by now!!) Measures: 35" bust, up to 30" waist, up to 34" hips, 54-57" long from shoulder to hem. Under $150, so final sale. $ 145. SOLD

Click on image for additional photos!#6373 - c. 1920's Wonderful Silk Lavender and Pink Fancy Garters with Ribbon Roses! OK, you can buy your friend one crappy new wedding garter for $20 for the bridal shower, or you can give her "something old" with an original set of fancy garters from the 1910-1920s! These are especially fabulous with two-tone silk coloring... lavender on the outside and pink on the inside. Finished off with 10 graduated colored ribbon roses. I've seen other 1920's garters priced over $400, and, in my humble opinion, these are nicer! As with all the antique garters, the elastic is stretched out, so if you want to wear these, you will just need to tack in some new elastic. Or better yet, use these to create a framed wedding gift! Excellent condition otherwise! Under $150 category, so final sale. Also listed in the Lingerie Category.

Click on image for additional photos!#9945 - c. 1950's RAPPI Grayish Teal Blue Taffeta Dress! A wonderful dress, but it's one of the smallest I have ever had from the 1950's, so probably best for your young teenage girl. I'm showing it on the size 2 mannequin and you can see that the back is FAR from closing! Measures: 29/30" bust, 22" waist, 29" long from waist to hem. Rappi was a fairly good label, this dress has a cotton crinoline under. Excellent condition. Lovely tie front. Comes with the original thin belt. So break out the tape measure to see if this will fit... if so, you get a steal at this price. Under $150, so final sale.

Click on image for additional photos!#9126a - c. 1940's KNOX HAT, New York Gray Wool Men's Homburg Hat with Original Box! Previously owned by some guy with the initials "CFA" and I believe sold at Delano Hat shop in Boston... there's lots of stuff embossed on the inside leather band! Meanwhile.. the exterior of the hat is fabulous. Stiff medium gray color felt with wide black grosgrain band with large bow at side... even has the original thin elastic band with the "Knox" button. Excellent condition with just the slightest hint of a scuff. The box is just in normal wear, OK condition... but nice to have to continue to protect the hat. Size men's hat labeled 7 1/8... which measures about 22" interior. Under $150, so final sale.

Click on image for additional photos!#4976 - c. 1890 B. ALTMAN & COMPANY, New York Pink Broche Boudoir Slippers! If it wasn't for the darkening of the back of these slipper shoes, they would be considered Excellent condition. But it seems that whatever they used for gluing in the heel of these shoes bled through the lovely pink brocade (or broche). Pink chiffon and pink satin flower decorations adorn the front of the shoes. Quilted interior sides. So pretty. These might fit you if you have a very thin foot. Measures: 10" long x 2.5" wide. Under $150, so final sale. Approx. - SIZE 6 AA

Click on image for additional photos!#6369 - c. 1947 FREDERICK & NELSON, Seattle Red Felt Tilt-Top Hat! Ok... I'm gonna say it right here and now... this hat is "totally unique"! So, now that I've said that... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stop using those two words together! I know it's become a huge part of modern American language, but it doesn't MEAN anything! The definition of "unique" is "unique"... "one of a kind"... so to say "totally unique" is an "oxymoron" (a figure of speech in which apparently contradictory terms appear in conjunction). GOT IT??????? :) Oh, and by the way, it's "SEQUINS", not "sequince" or my favorite, "seaquince" Ahhhh.... OK... it's out of my system. I'm better now. SO... the hat you ask? Red felt molded into a great shape, highlighted by two grosgrain ribbons at front. Meant to be worn as you see with a tilt. Excellent condition. Can be worn on a slightly larger than normal 22" head (this is the mannequin with a swelled head). For all you RED HAT SOCIETY members! Under $150, so final sale.

Click on image for additional photos!#9555 - c. 1970's Metallic Knit Stripe Gown! I think I had something similar to this in high school. Back in the days of the "granny gown". Boy I thought I was "hot"! Mine was ankle length and I wore my sexy boots with it. Sometimes I wonder why my Mother let me out of the house the way I dressed! This gown is less sexy and a lot cute! Metallic threads are used to knit the striped top and matching cardigan sweater and then the skirt, cuffs and trim are a matte black knit. Certainly draws attention! Would look great hemmed up as well, so you can decide if you want this as a gown or dress. Measures: 32-34" bust, 27" waist, up to 37" hips, 44" long from waist to hem. Would fit me fine if my head and neck was only 2" tall. :) Under $150, so final sale. Approx. - SIZE 4/6 LONG

Could be worn as a dress except for the fact that it's all open from that last button to the hem. If you sewed it shut, it could be a dress. Meanwhile... it comes as is with a matching longer skirt. Both pieces are fully lined. Metal zipper at skirt back. Measures: 32" bust, 22" long tunic from shoulder to hem. Skirt measures: 24.5" waist, up to 33" hips, 25.5" long. Click on image for additional photos!#9871 - c. 1960's Black Large Sequin Wool Knit Base Shell! This is one of those vintage items that will become a staple in your wardrobe! Perfect black knit large sequin sleeveless mock turtleneck shell. Marked "36" and "38", but I think the 38 is correct, and the other was sewn on by someone incorrectly. Anyway... it is a knit under the sequins so it stretches nicely! Measures: up to 38" bust, 20" long from shoulder to hem. Back metal zipper. There is a bit of white deodorant residue under the arms on the sequins, but it scrapes right off.... I just need to spend the time, or for this price, I'll let you do it! Made in British Hong Kong. Under $150, so final sale.

[ORDER ITEM - #9269]
Click on image for additional photos!#9269 - c. 1930's Jeweled Frame Petit Point Purse Floral Purse! Very pretty little purse, but more of the "run-of-the-mill" quality, yet from the same prestigious Beverly Hills estate as the museum quality purses! This purse features a goldtone jeweled frame, yet half of the jewels are unfortunately missing. The floral scene is the same front and back and has likely faded over time to a muted palette,, and it's ever so slightly worn at the bottom. The blush silk grosgrain lining has a few minor marks. The frame closes tightly with the distinctive click. Not sure if the frame is original to the purse as there are unused holes in the frame for stitching. Hmmm. Measures approx. 6" high x 7" wide with 17" chain. This is the purse you can use without worrying about ruining a museum quality piece! Just a lovely 1930's pettipoint purse to enjoy! Also great for the beginning collector! Under $150, so final sale.
SOLD#4139 - c. 1940's Floppy "Gone with the Wind" Straw Hat! "Fiddle-de-de"! I know this isn't as large a floppy hat as Scarlett O'Hara wore in the opening scene of GWTW, but it certainly has the same feel without looking too comical! Great "w" design in the straw. Dark brown velvet ribbon trim could certainly be replaced with green taffeta to be "oh so Scarlett". Excellent condition even though the crown is slightly misshapen (it will reshape on your head) and the brown velvet ribbon is tired. Under $150, so final sale. $ 135. SOLD
SOLD#9862 - c. 1960's Saks Fifth Avenue Red Pattered Dress with Matching Jacket! Larger Size! Direct from the Estate of a woman who used to shop only at the best stores... Saks being one of her favorites. This is a simple short sleeved dress with matching collared jacket. The material is an interesting pattern, likely double knit that stretches on the dress, but not much on the jacket as it is lined. Very Good condition with just one of the rounded black buttons missing on the jacket and barely a hint of dirt at the dress neckline in one area. Measures: 40" bust, up to 38" waist, up to 44" hips, 39" long from shoulder to hem, 22" long jacket from back neck to hem. Jacket only is lined. Labeled Size 18, but that's old sizing. NEW LISTING! Click on image for additional photos!#9762 - c. early 1960's Brown Silk Shantung Dress with "Overskirt"! You know I love these dresses with overskirts! Some are detachable, some are fully attached, as is this.. And you may also know that BROWN is being shown all over the magazines for this fall! So.... it kills me to put this dress in the Under $150 category. However, when an item has some flaws, you win!!! So.. pay attention and move fast! Gorgeous color. The dress has no labels, but obviously well-made and expensive fabric. The flaws are shown in the close-up photos. There are some light marks near the hem of the dress in front, and some watermark spots on the dress in the front bodice. Nothing is jarring, and the watermarks are only seen in some lighting situations, but they are flaws. 3/4 length sleeves. High neck. And the dress is small - too small for my mannequin so the back is open, but Measures: 32" perhaps 33" bust, 24" at natural waist, up to 34" hips. The dress was VERY professionally taken in about 2" everywhere, so can be let out if necessary... even hemmed up about 2" to 26" long from waist to hem. Under $150, so final sale. Approx. - Size 0/2

Click on image for additional photos!#9479 - c. 1960's Blush Pink Embossed Gown! I have to confess... I needed a wedding party gown to wear for a staged reading of a play I was in, and this was the gown that worked perfectly. Looked great on... and got many compliments. It's a blush pink gown of a unique embossed cotton/linen fabric. Sweet satin rope belt with "bow". Perfect length little cap sleeves will make your arms look their slimmest. If Audrey wore pink, she would own this. Wonderful for a summer evening.. or even for a bridesmaid. Measures: 35" bust (wide shoulders best!), 27" waist, 39" hips, 56" long from shoulder to hem. 2.5" hem if necessary. Inner waist corset, pockets at front. There is a slight dirty line across back (like she leaned up against something - see photos).. and slight hemline dirt. I can't imagine that wouldn't dryclean out, but I'm afraid I can't dryclean every gown as I would go broke! So I priced it very low so you can do your own dry-cleaning! :) Hem it up a smidge to a perfect hemline. Also Listed in the Special Category. Under $150, so final sale. Approx: - SIZE 6

Nice weight to the pieces! Well made. Excellent condition except for one minor rectangular spot on upper skirt - like a tag was gummed on - which gets lost in the print, but it's there. If this coat was hanging in your local department store or boutique, it would likely be one of the most expensive coats you see! [ORDER ITEM - #3894]
Click on image for additional photos!#3894 - c. 1930's BILLY LEWIS Conical Straw Hat with Brown Grosgrain Ribbon Trim! As you probably already know, I love hats that have shape and style. Hats started the decade as floppy brimmed cloches, became skull caps, and then in 1934, Elsa Schiaparelli created a sensation with a peaked hat. It "took", and tall hats became the tailored look of the era from the mid to late 1930's. Here's a great example with fun conical shape and trimmed with brown grosgrain ribbon on top and underneath brim! So it will look great to all those people shorter than you as well! :) Excellent condition. Has the elastic to place under your hair to hold hat on head. Under $150, so final sale.

Oh course, it would have been worn by a woman with a high fashion sense. One of my favorites for the 50s collection. It's a molded felt in this amazing shape... a triangle from the top, but wavy to create the "wingd" look! Black velvet rope gow at the very top. A large sprig of velveteen pink and blue flowers with one red rose in the middle. Black netting completes the look. Excellent condition. Got nerve? Under $150, so final sale.

Excellent condition. except for one thin break line of straw on the side at the crease. You could dab with glue and it will disappear, but I prefer to leave a is, as it's hardly noticeable unless you pull at it. Labeled 6 3/8 size, so it's small... I'd say 21" head best. It's possible it cost $1.00 when new... hard to read the pencil marks inside!! Leather interior band. Well-made hat! The elastic to hold on head is gone. Under $150, so final sale.

Click on image for additional photos!#3937 - c. 1960's SELEN / Livingston Bros. Black Plush Half Breton Hat with Black Ornaments! Interestingly different as you'd expect this hat to be a breton from the front.. but it becomes a molded cap at the back! With the sweet black grosgrain bow... part mod and part elegant. The ornamentation is black shiny "beads" of three different shapes... round beads, squares and oversized long bugle beads. Excellent condition. Body made in Italy... great quality hat! Under $150, so final sale.

Click on image for additional photos!#9164 - 1900's DOBBS, Milan Brown Straw Hat with Wide Ribbon Band! Ok... I'm not absolutely sure if this is a man's hat, or one of those hard to find "man's" hat for a woman. No size label. Probably a 23" woman's size... slightly large for my normal 22" head. Very wide dark ecru pleated band has some staining all the way around. But the top quality straw is in Excellent condition. Has leather band around the interior with monogram "FDG". There is also another label besides the Dobbs, Milan on the leather band "Louis, Styled by George Wally, Boston, New York". The brim straw is malleable yet stiff at the crown. The perfect combination. I could apologize for the staining on the band, but the hat is so nice, that hey.... Under $150, so final sale.
