Yeah, I know, I wonder myself how I can call a cotton/wool (I think) knit dress a sundress. But it's the shape that evokes the feel of the sundress... but you might not want to wear it in 90+ degree weather. Great open weave material with gold metallic threads travelling through. Edged in a thin band of black velvet at neckline and a wide attached "belt" of black velvet at waist which ends in a back bow. Measures: 33/34" bust, 24/25" waist. Side metal zipper. Shown with a crinoline, but you could use an even poufier one. It's a "wow, that's a pretty dress" in person! Approx. - SIZE 2/4

Love it! Off-white fully quilted jacket and bustier with tiny gold metallic dots at each intersection. Trimmed in an opulent gold lace and large rhinestone closure at front and rhinestoned cuffed sleeves. The long, 5 layered skirt is a sheer organdy over two tulle and two linings giving great volume. Always architectural in style, Mugler's fashions are destined for museums. No question...as they are already there.. even exhibited at the famed Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC! I have a Mugler white jacket in my closet that I will not part with! You may feel the same way! Mugler suits originally sold for thousands of dollars. This Mugler suit is of a very lightweight wool (labeled peignee) ... so less stiff than some other Muglers. Wide padded shoulders, though not as wide as the 80's suits. Unlined (as usually for Mugler). Jacket snaps and buckles at front. Skirt snaps up back! I love the back of the jacket as well! Measures: 34-38" bust, 26" waist, up to 37" hips, 21" long skirt. Excellent condition.. though the waist seems to have been taken in one side about 1/2 inch. Approx. - SIZE 6/8

It makes NO sense to me that people go ga-ga over Fortuny.. and yet these wonderful McFadden dresses don't yet have a following, even though McFadden has tons of prestigious fashion awards, including two Coty awards and induction into the coty Hall of Fame. ! I know it's only a matter of time before McFadden again becomes "hot", so stock up now! McFadden creatd her own signature fabric, "Marii" a pleated polyester which evokes the look of Fortuny, and the designs evoke Grecian togos. This dress is all red (I over-photographed it so you can see the design of the pleating... otherwise it would just look like a red blob in my photos. It's a lovely bluish-red, not of orange-red hue. Slightly puffy shoulders. The horizonal pleating of the bodice continue down to a draped feel at the hipline gathered up at one side with a heavy gold metallic lacey "ornament". Extremely thin gold trim edge the pleats. Skirt portion, drape and sleeves are of vertical pleating. Side zipper as well as upper back zipper. Measures: 37" bust, up to 32" waist, up to 39" hips, 49" long from shoulder to hem. Approx. - SIZE 10/12

SOLD#3480 - c. 1950's SAMUEL WINSTON by ROXANE Blue/Gray Linen Battenberg-Like Illusion Lace Dress! This amazing curvy dress of dusty blue/gray features intricate floral battenburg like lace all over bodice front and back and huge patch pockets! The construction is just amazing, especially the 'illusion' bodice with a thin blue fabric sweetheart bustier under the lace overlay. The dress is linen, I believe, and has a darted bust and darting and gathers at the skirt waist. The skirt is slim and fitted. It has a cute peter pan collar and decorative fabric covered buttons up the front. Back metal zipper. Excellent condition with just one extreme minor barely visible spot below front waist (oh, and it could use a hem pressing - sorry!! ). Measures: 34/35" bust, 24" waist, up to 36" hip, 25.5" from waist to hem (with an additional 3.5" in hem). This is the dress that will make eyes pop out of "their" heads! $ 445. SOLD

Pauline Trigere... renowned for her classic, beautifully tailored and well-made designer clothing. Simple elegance in a fabulous bright purple (a bit less red than shown on some computer screens). Not magenta... it's purple. Low "v" neckline in front and back of gown. Gathered at waist sides for "princess" style. Back zipper. Just the right combination of sex and classy. Fully lined in silk. PLEASE NOTE: the gown is too large for my mannequin so it kind of swims on her... it will look better on a size 12 gal! Measures: 38/39" bust, 31" waist, 44" long from waist to hem. Excellent condition. Approx. - SIZE 10/12
SOLD#3076 - c. 1960's Black Fine Wool Jersey Jumper Gown with Rhinestone Button Decorations!! I call a lot of dresses and gowns Audrey. Hard not to. For it just helps to define the quality, simple lines, and beauty of certain garments, especially black items, all in one word, "Audrey". I've never seen another gown like this. Could be worn with a blouse under, or worn without. And who would expect it to be a soft, fine wool jersey??? High quality garment. Great lines... but I guess I already said that. Even the back metal zipper is perfectly tailored. A must have for any closet. Love that extra little touch of the faux "tabs" at the shoulders and at the knee with clear rhinestone decorative buttons. Excellent, Near Mint condition! Measures: 36" bust, up to 30" waist, up to 39/40" hips, 55" long from shoulder to hem. $ 265. SOLD

Would be one of the few gowns that would be perfect to wear as a hostess gown for fancy party, or other such fancy event where you want to look "dressed to the nines", but still comfortable. This is a two-piece outfit. The color is a burgundy wine. A full skirt with beading, sequin and embroidered flower decorations around the bottom just above the lace, scalloped hemline! The top is a wrap blouse with ties attached and sheer sleeves. The wide, large collar has the same beaded, sequin and embroidered flower design. "Marisa Mone" label. This item came from the collection of the woman who "loves to buy only the best!" Silk lined skirt with layer of black stiff netting to shape. Material gives you that all-so-feminine rustling taffeta sound! Measures: 24/25" waist (could be made 26"), 41" long skirt. Excellent condition though I saw one spot and one "go over" and can't find it again! The color is wine. Approx. - SIZE 6

Black silk velvet bodice with elliptical connection to the stiffened silk A-line skirt. Low scoop back, boat neck front. Side hidden zipper. From Schlampp's in Minneapolis (hope that's a nice store since the name is a bit scary!). I had one other Estevez gown in the past and it was just as classically beautiful. High quality goods! Measures: 35" bust (I'd suggest a "c" cup best to fill out), 30" waist, 36/37" hips best, 37" long from shoulder to hem. Approx. - SIZE 6

Click on image for additional photos!#2866 - c. 1980's PATRICK KELLY Beige "Riding" Style Linen Jacket! You should know Patrick Kelly... though he passed away early in his career, he was still the first American member elected to the Chambre Syndicale of Paris. Among his clients were Grace Jones, Princess Di, Farrah Fawcett, and even Bette Davis and Zsa Zsa Gabor! Retrospectives of this African-American designer feature his innovative and witty colored button fashions. Only producing collections for 5 years until his death from AIDS, his fashions are collectable! NOW.... I confess I bought this at an antique show... but kept it for myself. I know I'm supposed to "be good" and only buy for you, my devoted customers and fans, but... every once in a blue moon (OK, I confess again.. sometimes it's more often than that!), I break down and convince myself that I can't live without "whatever it is", and so.... it goes into my personal closet. Years later I realize that I work at home in my jammies and bunny slippers more than I go out, and the poor item that I HAD to HAVE to wear... never got worn! I know I've gotta get a life, but this website takes too much time on computer, so... my bathrobe is my all I need. But it still kills me to sell the items I love! Waaahhh! This classic, one-button closure beige linen and off-white top-stitching jacket is similar to a riding jacket, however with floppy peplum, wide shoulders, wide lapels , it's extremely fashionable. Near Mint condition. Crisp. Add a sexy pencil skirt and stilletos. No... forget it... I'm keeping it!!!! Measures: 32-34" bust, 25-26" waist. Approx. - SIZE 4

Click on image for additional photos!#2412 - c. 1940's Golden Amber Crepe Evening Gown with Fully Beaded and Sequined Front Bodice! Oh I do wish I didn't have to try to describe colors with words! Too hard! Golden Amber? Light Pumpkin? Squash? You try it! Let me know what you come up with. Absolutely stunning draping on this skirt! Both the front and the back. The gown isn't perfect, since there are beads and sequins missing from some areas, but the gown itself is in Excellent condition. So... I've been holding on to this gown for a few months to see if I could find some beads to fix for you, but I never have the time to look... so I figure you might. The gown would need shoulderpads as well (the originals are missing). Even with the bit of work on your part, this gown is still one of the nicest I've seen. Measures: 35/36" bust, up to 30" waist, up to 41" hips., 39" long from waist. Side metal zipper. Had a belt at one time, though goodness knows why! Looks much better without! Best for 5'5" gal or shorter. The last gown I had up on the website similar to this, sold for $485, so I'm giving you a $90 break to add shoulder pads and find and stitch on your own beads! If I find them before you do, the price will go up! :) It's well worth it! Approx. - SIZE 8/10

Click on image for additional photos!#2448 - c. 1980's OSCAR DE LA RENTA Black Net Ballgown with Hot Pink Waistband! Not only is this a great gown, but it comes with a bit of great provenance! Originally owned by a woman (don't know which one) from the Coors family of Denver - you know.. the Coors...as in beer. Now that means that this female probably purchased the top of the line garments.. as I'll bet she wasn't hurting for spending cash!!! So...lucky you can now purchase her vintage gown for probably a heck of a lot less money than original cost! A fairytale princess gown in black fairly stiff netting (can't tell you what the material is... haven't a clue!).. but the extra wide waistband is a hot pink raw silk. Comes with the extra matching thin sash which you can tie around the waistband as shown. Full wide sleeves with gathered cuffs, ruffled collar and full skirt. Back zipper. Labeled size 6, but it's more like a Size 4 today. As you can see it's too small for my 35" bust mannequin, and just fits her waist at 25", 41" long from waist to hem. Amazingly doesn't overwhelm the small frame - yup, I tried it on... looks great and I'm only 5'2", size 6. Nice little cleavage from fairly low "u" neckline. I love it. So will you! Excellent condition.. no flaws found! Approx. - SIZE 4

#1813 - c. 1990's Light Blue Floral Tank Dress and Matching Coat by Moshary. Television Memorabilia. Worn by Fran Drescher on the hit TV Show, The NANNY! This outfit was purchased in a lot of 5 outfits worn by Fran Drescher on her TV Program, "The Nanny". Each has an attached tag and came from a re-sale shop in Los Angeles. My parents and I are doing our homework for you - watching as many re-runs of The Nanny as possible - so that I can guarantee authenticity! So the other night, I saw the coat of this outfit on the show.. It was in Episode 5.6 (year 5, show 6). Since the coat was worn by "Maggie" (the daughter) and she was huddling behind the other children, I think they just went back to wardrobe to grab a coat. So, you are guaranteed that this is from the show, but I would imagine that the entire outfit was worn by Fran Drescher on another episode, we just have to find it!! Meanwhile, it's a sweet little outfit. Padded shoulder coat, nicely tailored tank dress. Excellent condition. You must realize that the outfit is SHORT, as you would imagine from seeing the show. Wear it if you've got the nerve, but remember it's memorabilia!! 34/35" bust, up to 27" waist, up to 36" hips TOPS! Also listed in the Memorabilia Category. Approx. - SIZE 4/6 (tiny hips please!)
