#6181 - c. 1990's EAVIS & BROWN. London Black Beaded "Mermaid" Gown with Low Back!  Eavis & Brown are best known for designing Heather Mills' (Paul McCartney's ex) wedding gown said to have cost over $35,000.  This is my third time I've crossed paths with this fabulously designed all beaded gown!   The first one was white and was sold at auction for more money than I thought possible, so I couldn't get it for you.  The next one I found (exactly the same beading design) was in a lovely seafoam green color.  That gown was sold on this website and has been up in museum section.  I was SO happy to find yet another, this one is the most dramatic in black beading on a crinkly silk chiffon over off-white silk lining!  ZOWIE!  So sexy.  Sure to be your "go to" gown for any formal event!  Measures:  33" bust, 25" waist, 34" hips (I just tried this on my 37" hips and since it's bias it goes on.. just!), 60" long from shoulder to hem in front, 62" long in back. Excellent condition with just a few bugle beads missing at the hemline (I'm sure you will kick a few off yourself - but geez... who's looking at the hem in this! Buttons at extreme low back.
