From the same collection as the Philip Hulitar
dress comes this fantastic black and
green print silk dress with ... and you have to check it out in the
close up photos... with a unique double layered neckline, and with
matching silk bows at the upper sleeves! Wonderful tailoring,
so again you have to look at the close up photos. Really.
I'm not kidding. Go look! Just click on the photo at
left. This dress Measures: up to 40" bust, up to 29"
waist, up to 42" hips, 26" waist to hem
with another 3+" hem. Excellent condition! Metal zipper
at back. Gorgeous!!!!! What's the Blue Room
you ask? Well, from researching,
"The Blue Room was a special
area open between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Its purpose was to
give men a special area in which to shop for the ladies in their
lives." If so... this would have been one of those dresses
that might have sold with a green coat!
Wouldn't THAT have been smashing! Or black coat with green
gloves and shoes? Damn, wouldn't it have been great to live
back then to dress like that? Oh wait, you CAN still dress
like that... :)
