#6758 - c. 1870's Trained Pale China Blue Wool Twill Morning Gown with Watteau Back and Two-Tone Embroidery!  Damn I've found some pretty stuff lately!  I guess I still love what I do, as I am excited about offering such wonderful pieces.  Imagine waking up and slipping into this beauty to sip your morning coffee!  Especially because that means that you were wealthy enough to employ a few maids and servants to fetch you your coffee! :)  The color is close to that perfect Tiffany blue color wool twill embroidered with off-white and light blue silk floss all over the place in a small floral pattern.  Gotta love that watteau back,  the two pleated side pockets,  the knife pleated hemline, daisy embroidered buttons down front, and the interesting "overcoat" tailoring at front.  Measures: 30" bust, 23" waist, 50" long from shoulder to hem in front, 71" long in back. Condition is Very Good... not perfect, but I'm extremely picky and others would call it Excellent. There are extremely light discolorations or fading here and there, and a few tiny spots. These issues are hardly important... but what you will find are two old professional mends on the sleeves (see photos).  They blend in well, but they are seen.
