#6616 - c. 1953 LILLY DACHE, Paris/New York Natural Straw and Black Velvet Profile Hat!  Spectacular!  Even after collecting and then selling vintage clothing for over 35 years, every once in a while something just comes around that makes you think you really haven't seen everything! This is one of those special hats!  I love this Lilly Dache quote: “Glamour is what makes a man ask for your telephone number. But it also is what makes a woman ask for the name of your dressmaker." Or in this case... your milliner. Stiff natural straw exterior with black velvet under brim and rope tie around crown. Near mint condition. Measures: 12.5" x 16".
