Flapper Headpiece, or if you prefer Deco Headpiece!
This has to be one of the most fabulous
flapper headpieces I've seen in my life! This girl must have
been the Paris Hilton of her time! Striking!! A gold metallic lace
base which is encrusted with three gorgeous heart-shaped and one
marquise shaped ruby colored rhinestones, surrounded by dazzling
rhinestones and faux pearls. It's just awesome. Even has
two red stones at the back. Shaped in a tiara look. The
headpiece is a bit floppy off the head, but once it's on - wore as
shown on forehead - it comfortably conforms to your head and stays
up fairly well. If you prefer to wear it more as a tiara up on
the head, you can back the piece with a stiff gold netting for grater stability.
But I'm leaving as original. Obviously used for fancy dress. Excellent condition.
22" long, 3" high at the front center. I will hate to see this
go. I will likely never find another! Waahh!
