Boots! So sweet for display! Exactly what you dreamed
you could find! The classic-looking fine Victorian evening boot with
all the bells and whistles... scalloped tops, scalloped button
edging, bows on toes, elegant color and fabric, AND Parisian! Even
the original paper label inside the boot is attractive!
Obviously these were rarely worn as they are in Excellent condition
- along with the paper tag which is on the sole and would have been
destroyed if often worn. Only extreme minor dirty (so would you be
at 137 years old!). Unique inner corset-like closure at foot
top which ties (see photos) and then the boot buttons over that!
Never seen that before! I give the measurements as people ask, but
they don't mean anything! Measures: 10 1/4" long x 2 3/8" wide, 1
1/2" heel, 9" tall. These are incredibly a wearable size! I
wear 6 1/2 and slightly wide, and they go on my foot... but they
just have VERY low instep and small ankle/leg so there is no way I
can button them - or come close. Approx. - SIZE 7 ish -
