Quality 3-Piece Dark Plum Taffeta and
Embossed Deep Garnet Velvet Bustle Gown!
Extremely Rare Find! Hard to believe this outfit
found its way back to me after 6 years, but I think it understands
how much I love it, so just like a lost puppy...! :) You won't
believe this! So hard to find! A three-piece bustle gown of bodice,
bustle skirt and jacket/coat with long tasseled back! Wow! All in
near mint condition! And... with 18 "killer" buttons of hand-painted
design on mother-of-pearl. The materials are a plum silk taffeta
with contrasting garnet silk embossed velvet on all the pieces. The
skirt is a masterpiece in itself with pleated hemline, ruffles just
above and fabulous asymmetric draping. Shown with a bustle cage
under which doesn't come with the outfit. The jacket/coat is so
rare... just take a look at the back of this piece! Long "v" cut
velvet tasseled decoration hanging down the back from a ruching at
the top. Large bell sleeves. Large pockets at sides. Double-breasted
buttoned front with those amazing buttons! Take a look at the
close-up photos. And what is most amazing is that I can't find
anything wrong with this outfit! Near Mint condition! Measures:
29/30" bust, 23" waist, 40" long from waist to hem.
