#4027 - c. 1908 Edwardian GIGANTIC Blue Straw Summer Hat! These gigantic hats are so hard to find. I figure many of them were thrown out over the years as they are difficult to store... I know about these things... as my husband's mother threw out his baseball card collection which included the Mickey Mantle rookie card! We are just lucky that this hat survived ... probably in a large house with lots of storage space! Excellent condition! Only the flowers could use a bit of steaming to perk up.. though I like it as it is... slightly wilted. The blue straw hat measures 20" across and 18" front to back. I'll wait here while you try to find another hat as spectacular... (la, la, la, la, la, la, la)... long enough??? Trust me... no matter how long I give you, it just won't happen! :)
