#4000 - c. 2000's EAVIS & BROWN, London Beaded Chiffon Gown! By now you must have heard all the stories about Heather Mills (the new Mrs. Paul McCartney) and her wedding gown fiasco. If you missed this.. in short, Heather asked Eavis & Brown, the famous English Couturier team to create her wedding gown (of course snubbing her new daughter-in-law - Stella McCartney, fashion designer). The gown took months to create, and was presented to Heather at no charge (the gown said to be worth 19,000 Euros (that's $25,000!) in exchange for the publicity. However, when asked about her gown, Heather essentially described it as "this old thing" and claimed she had designed it herself! Eek! However, you now know how expensive these Eavis& Brown gowns are! And this one is exquisite! It is all pure silk chiffon with every inch covered in crystal beading in the most glorious design! The color is a very light, barely tinted silvery blue/green. It is cut on the bias with fishtail train, spaghetti straps and matching beaded (slightly darker) shawl/scarf. Fully lined in silk. Excellent condition. Marked Medium, the bias will fit a variety of bodies! Breathtaking gown!!! NOTE: The rhinestone bow pin does not come with the gown.
