#3900 - c. 1915 R.H. Stearns & Co., Boston Unbelievable Ecru Embroidered Lace Wedding Dress! This is one of those dresses that you can get lost in looking at all the details of the embroidery and lace! It's much too elaborate to believe that it wasn't a wedding dress. One of the best lace dresses I've had (and that says a lot!). The dress is in near Mint condition. There are the most tiny, itsy-bitsy barely seen slits just starting in the taffeta attached underslip. I can't find anything wrong with the exterior. Elaborate closures with hooks and snaps.. you will need a road map! Measures: 36" bust, 30" waist, 52" long from shoulders to hem. Embroidered nouveau design on material appliques on skirt and bodice. Rare stylized lace on skirt hem and yoke. Floral lace net bell sleeves. Note: I added the wax flower decoration at the waistband. I will include it with the dress if you wish as it looks lovely with it!
