#3706 - c. 1950's Awesome Hollywood Gold
Lame Gown! This incredible 1940's/1950's full length
diva gown looks as if it could have been made for Rita Hayworth!
The textile has silver threads on a gold lame background, in an
all-over, slightly art nouveau design. Just feast your eyes on
all the wonderful detailed draping across the bust and sarong
skirt of this magnificent piece! It will fit up to a 36B bust,
28" waist and 38" hip. It is basically strapless with a
long train that wraps around the neck and hangs down the back.
The skirt is split up the front 26" under the fold of the
drape. It is 53" from the top of the center back metal
zipper, to the end of the fishtail that trains behind the dress.
Excellent condition with no holes, stains or fading. There is a
merry widow bra sewn in that has hook & eye closures up the
back and boning. It is a size 36B and I will leave it in there
for the next person to do with as they wish (perhaps you'll want
to sew in your own strapless bra). You're sure to look like a
screen siren in this fabulous gown!
