#3162 - c. late 1960's /early 1970's COURREGES Pastel Pink Wool MiniSkirt Suit! Andre
Courreges opened his own design house in 1961. He became known
for his "space age" look from his uncluttered,
futuristic, and architectural design and construction. He sold
his business in 1965, but returned two years later producing
clearly defined clothes, many in pastel shades. Voila! Here is a
hip pastel pink worsted wool, two-piece suit made in Paris by
Courreges, labeled size 38. This fully lined mod jacket with wide
lapels is double breasted, has small square silver buttons, and
has a self belt in the back. The cute miniskirt has the
cheerleader look, with the drop waist and pleated bottom. It
buttons in front, and is fully lined as well. This Courreges suit
is amazingly modern looking! Clean, Excellent condition, with
nit-picky minor wear to the edge of the buttons. Measures:
26" waist, up to 36" hips, 17" long skirt. The
jacket is a boxy style so it will easily fit, with 16" 3/4
length sleeves. You can wear it right out of the box! Or add this
to your vintage Courreges collection!
