#3058 - c. 1980's ISSEY MIYAKE Hologram Jacket! Issey Miyake was born in Japan but moved to Paris in 1965 to work for Guy Laroche and Givenchy, then moved to New York to work with Geoffrey Beene in 1969-70. Miyake's first collection was shown in New York and Toyko in 1971 and 1973 in Paris. His design company was established in France in 1979 and in the USA in 1982. From the early days, his collections appear almost as often in museums as they appear on the runways of the fashion business. His avant-garde styles are striking and timeless, and he is know for using innovative fabrics in both natural fibers and new synthetics. How amazing is this? A nearly sheer fabric jacket that looks just like a hologram.. but no images seen. Incredible! I try to find interesting clothing for you. I love to succeed! Measures: up to 40" bust, 32" waist, up to 43" hips, 29" long (slightly longer in front than back). Labeled Medium. Excellent condition. Zippers on sleeves and pockets. 5 Button front. Great hip seaming detail at back. Be an attention grabber! Who knows what this can lead to... perhaps you will meet your future husband... or a rock star... or be mistaken for Brittany.
