1939 Tall Straw
Hat with Copper Brown Bow and Veil. Love this
look. Wonder how I can date this to 1939? Well, I'll tell
you! From April 1, 1939 Vogue Magazine ad from
Lord and Taylor. It can be seen on page 327 of Sue
Langley's great Hats & Bonnets Book. To be
worn slightly cocked on the head, dripping into the eyes.
Excellent condition. Great fun. A bit of a throw back to
the 1880's with the tall hats of that era.
