#2801 - c. 1940's/1950's Black Silk Jersey Gown by BERMAN'S COSTUMERS, Paris, London, Hollywood!
Berman's is perhaps the world's most renowned costumer for Hollywood movies in the 1950's-1960's. Part of Angels & Berman's in London which has provided costumes for a long list of blockbuster movies. I have no specific background on this gown, but it's WAY too spectacular to have been produced for no reason... and WAY too fabulous not to have been made for someone special.. with an obviously fabulous body. If only I knew. One of the best gowns I have ever seen... no question! It's all black silk jersey and fits the 34"/24"/34" mannequin beautifully and will stretch up to 38" hips. It fits like a glove, hugging everything and showing as much cleavage as he can stand!! Perfect condition.
