#1761 - c. 1922 Incredible Gold Metallic Bobbin Lace Gown with Silk Tissue Chiffon and Black Netting under and Fabulous Wide Black Silk/Gold Lame Woven Panel! Wearable! Wow! An absolutely amazing gown! Shoulders are accented with streaming lops of gold and clear glass beads from rhinestone medallions. 68" long back panel. Now... in looking over the gown, I surmise that the back bodice under the train was opened up to fit a larger size than original. This is a Great thing for the women of today, but I just want to make the historic collectors aware. Nothing is gone, but extra material has been placed at the back which is not seen since it's under the train. Delicate, nearly invisible net sleeves. All-in-all in Very Good/Excellent condition!
